Rocketry Resources and Clubs

At Space Craft International, we manufacture models of space probes. Our customers tend to be people who have an interest in space, people who like putting things together, people who like to know how things work. So it should be no surprise that a lot people who visit our website are into model rockets. Recognizing this, we have created this page to help you connect to rocketry clubs and organizations in your area.

The Experimental Rocket Propulsion Society (ERPS) was founded in February of 1993 to gather together interested amateurs to learn about, design, build, and test liquid fuel rocket engines.ERPS is a volunteer, non-profit liquid fuel rocket engine design and test group based in the San Jose area of Northern California. We're experimenting with and developing new rocket engines using high density propellents that are storable at room temperature and that will allow us to demonstrate simplicity of operation and cost advantages for single-stage-to-orbit launch vehicles.
The Reaction Research Society (RRS) is the oldest continuously operating amateur experimental rocket group in the United States. The Society today continues, as a non-profit amateur organization, to promote experimental rocketry as an educational tool and to further general interest in reaction propulsion and its applications. In addition, the Society maintains facilities and provides the technical experience necessary for safe educational opportunities in rocket design and test activities. Members from around the United States are building rocket systems to test with the Society at the Mojave Test Area.
